| Minbuza has performed on
stage at various museums, universities, and festive events. We have performed
for audiences at such venues as the Epcot Center at Walt Disney World,
the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, and Columbia Universityfs Miller Theater.
The New York Mets have invited us for two years in a row to perform on
Asia Night at Shea Stadium. In 2003, with Taikoza we produced a Taiko
and Japanese folk dance concert at the P.J. Sharp Theater at Symphony
Space. |

| We cover a year in Japan,
season by season, performing traditional folk dances from different parts
of Japan. These dances illustrate various local customs and the occupations
indigenous to the area. We then relate each custom and profession back
to the season it is performed in, explaining why this dance is performed
in this season and what symbols in the dance represent that season. We
tailor all of our performances to the age of our audience and create the
right show for that audience. Minbuza has performed throughout the New
York public school system, allowing us to share Japanese folk dance and
culture with children of all ages. |

| Our workshops teach the dance
forms, prop use and history of each dance featured in the workshop. Upon
completion of our performance, we encourage audience participation as
a way of both learning and enjoying what we are all about. We have taught
such diverse groups as the Polish-American Dance Company and students
at the U.N. School in NYC. |

| Our lectures are usually
coupled with either a performance or workshop. The director, Momo Suzuki,
takes the listener on a ride through the history of Japanese dance and
Japanese culture in general. She has lectured at Hunter College CUNY and
the 92nd St. YMCA. |
