YAMAGATA HANAGASA ODORI JAPAN TOUR NYHANAGASA KAI intend to participate in the Hanagasa Dance Festival in Yamagata City. The Yamagata Hanagasa Buyoudan (Yamagata Flower Hat Dance Troupe) traveled to NY in 2002 to offer their support for the city in the aftermath of September 11th. For the past six years we had hoped to travel to Yamagata to return their gracious gesture. In August, we will finally be able to realize this dream and will be touring Yamagata.
